What does Elsewhere VPN record?

Understand browsing privacy, account records, and signup country.

1. Browsing activity is not logged: the VPN does not keep your browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic contents.
2. Account, payment, and device records are separate. They let you sign in, use your subscription, manage five devices, and prevent unauthorized access.
3. At website signup, we automatically save an estimated country from your connection to organize support and spot regional issues. This feature does not save your IP address, city, or location history. VPNs and travel can affect the estimate. The country record is removed when account deletion completes.
4. The lifetime refund offer uses a protected email fingerprint and limited payment history, including after account deletion. This is personal data, not an anonymous browsing profile.
